Press ReviewExcerpts from press and Internet articles relating to Château Beauséjour…
Shipments to EuropeChâteau Beauséjour is now able to deliver wines to several European countries...
With a beautiful dusky red color, this perfectly balanced wine is characterized by red fruity and vanilla aromas, ending with a lightly toasted finish.
It is aged for 10 to 12 months in twice-used barrels, allowing it to keep its whole freshness and a lovely nose of red fruits.
It is the second wine of Château Beauséjour: an excellent price/pleasure/quality ratio!
This wine, ideal for keeping and full-bodied, is typical of the Montagne Saint Émilion appellation. Its main assets, which can be found in the various vintages, are: nice ruby color, beautiful nose of ripe berry fruits, very beautiful woody, bold nose, showing an outstanding length in the mouth.
An elegant wine, which can be kept for a long time in the wine cellar. To fully appreciate it, the wine needs to be opened 1 or 2 hours before tasting it. It is created from the very old vines of Château Beauséjour.
To mark the revival of "Château Beauséjour" and the common efforts of Stéphane Derenoncourt and Patricia and Pierre Bernault, the top-of-the-range vintage (formerly called « Clos de l'Eglise » vieilles vignes) has become simply "Château Beauséjour".
Made into wine by Stéphane Derenoncourt with grapes from the best plots (or parts of the best plots), Château Beauséjour expresses the excellence of the terroir and of the know-how of the new owners.
Merlot 75%, Cabernet Franc 25%. Vines aged on average 45 years.
Part of the historic heritage of the Saint Émilion region... This special vintage, created in 2005 at Stéphane Derenoncourt's and Pierre Bernault's instigation, is exclusively made into wine from very old vines planted in 1901.
A demanding and mastered wine making process creates a great wine, of remarkable quality! Elegance, delicacy of the fruit aromas, complexity of the nose and absolute respect of the terroir are the characteristics of this very rare wine, which is now one of the greatest Bordeaux wines.
Merlot 50%, Cabernet Franc 50%. Vines aged 105 years.
